Learning Objectives
Indicator: K2.3.4.1.3 - Read level-appropriate sight words from the big book
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Read aloud at least five level-appropriate sight words displayed on word cards, with teacher support.
- Point to and identify the same sight words when they appear in the big book.
- Use each sight word to form a short, simple spoken sentence related to the big book story.
- Copy the sight words correctly in their ruled exercise books.
- Read the copied sight words to a partner and listen while their partner reads back.
