Learning Objectives

Indicator: K2.2.2.1.5 - Identify the letter-sound learnt for the week in words related to the theme and write the letter and key word boldly and legibly in their books.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Say the letter-sound for the week correctly when shown the letter card.
  2. Identify the letter-sound in at least three words related to the theme of family origin and history.
  3. Trace and write the letter of the week boldly and legibly in their exercise books.
  4. Write the key word for the week related to family in their books with correct letter formation.
  5. Point to and say the key word when it appears in a simple sentence or on a word card.
