Indicator: 3.1.1.LI.3 - Create and save a publication using desktop publishing software, such as MS Publisher or Adobe.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the key features and uses of desktop publishing software such as MS Publisher and Adobe InDesign.
- Explain the steps involved in creating a new publication, including setting up page size and orientation.
- Add text, headings, and building blocks (such as page borders, calendars, and quote boxes) to a publication.
- Save a publication in different formats, including the native format and PDF, and locate the saved file.
- Demonstrate the ability to open, edit, and re-save an existing publication.
