Learning Objectives
Indicator: 3.1.1.LI.2 - Develop slides, format tables, and incorporate charts, graphs, animation, and transitions in a slide presentation.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Create a new slide presentation in presentation software and apply a consistent design theme across all slides.
- Insert and format tables into slides, adjusting rows, columns, cell colour, borders, and text alignment to present data clearly.
- Create charts and graphs from data entered in a table or spreadsheet and format them for clarity and visual appeal.
- Apply animation effects to text and objects on slides, and set transition effects between slides, controlling speed and timing.
- Present a slide show using Presenter view and evaluate their own and peers’ presentations against a checklist of formatting, chart, animation, and transition criteria.
