Learning Objectives

Indicator: 2.1.1.LI.5 - Save and print workbooks and worksheets (Save, Save As, Print)

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Differentiate between the “Save” and “Save As” commands and state when it is appropriate to use each one.
  2. Save a spreadsheet workbook in at least two different file formats (for example, .xlsx and .pdf) and explain the purpose of each format.
  3. Organise spreadsheet files into clearly named folders on a computer or mobile device.
  4. Use print preview and page setup options (such as orientation, margins, and scaling) to prepare a worksheet for printing.
  5. Print an entire workbook or selected worksheets and verify that the printed output matches the intended layout.
