Learning Objectives
Indicator: 1.1.1.LI.3 - Enhance lists by sorting, renumbering, and customising list styles using desktop/online computing tools (word processing software e.g., MS Word, Google Docs) keyboard, mouse etc.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Sort a bulleted or numbered list in alphabetical or numerical order using the Sort command in MS Word or Google Docs.
- Restart or renumber a numbered list from a chosen starting number using the numbering options in word processing software.
- Customise bullet symbols and number formats by choosing from built-in libraries and applying them to selected list items.
- Distinguish between bulleted and numbered lists and select the appropriate list type for a given document purpose.
- Apply sorting, renumbering, and customised list styles to create an organised, clearly presented list in a practical document such as a timetable (Level 3 Strategic Reasoning: justify formatting choices for purpose and audience).
