Learning Objectives
Indicator: B9.2.2.1.2 - Demonstrate the ability to play the main character in a simple play.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the role and responsibilities of the main character (البطل/البطلة) in a simple Arabic play.
- Memorise and deliver the main character’s lines with correct pronunciation, tone and expression.
- Project their voice clearly and use appropriate body language (gestures and facial expressions) while performing as the main character.
- Respond spontaneously to the supporting characters’ cues without losing their place in the dialogue.
- Perform a short rehearsed scene as the main character before the class, demonstrating confidence and control of the dialogue.
