Learning Objectives
Indicator: 1.1.2.LI.1 - Explain healthy living behaviour and how that promotes physical health
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define healthy living behaviour in their own words and list at least four examples of such behaviours.
- Explain how at least three healthy living behaviours (such as regular exercise, adequate sleep, stress management, and avoiding harmful substances) promote physical health.
- Distinguish between healthy and unhealthy living behaviours by sorting given scenarios into the correct categories.
- Develop a personal checklist of healthy living behaviours they will adopt to promote their physical health.
- Justify, using reasoning, why adopting healthy living behaviours is more beneficial than neglecting them, giving at least one Ghanaian example.
