Indicator: B6.3.1.1.4 - Identify and use abstract nouns to refer to concepts and ideas
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define an abstract noun as a word that names a concept, idea, quality, or feeling that cannot be seen or touched.
- Identify abstract nouns in given sentences and short passages.
- Sort a list of words into concrete nouns and abstract nouns.
- Use at least five different abstract nouns correctly in their own sentences.
- Explain the difference between a concrete noun and an abstract noun using their own examples.
