Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.3.1.1.1 - Identify and use nouns or noun phrases to describe conditions.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define a noun and a noun phrase in their own words, giving at least two examples of each.
- Identify nouns and noun phrases that describe conditions in given sentences and short passages.
- Explain what a “condition” means in grammar, giving examples such as weather, health, poverty, wealth, and other states of being.
- Construct at least three original sentences that use nouns or noun phrases to describe different conditions.
- Use nouns and noun phrases to describe conditions in a short oral presentation or written composition.
