Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.6.1.1.1 - Give examples of facilities the internet offers.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define the internet and explain what the term “internet facility” means in simple words.
- Identify and name at least four different facilities the internet offers, including e-mail, the World Wide Web (www), and FTP.
- Match each internet facility to what it is used for in everyday life.
- Demonstrate how to access at least one internet facility, such as sending an e-mail or browsing a webpage, through a class presentation.
- Distinguish between the internet itself and the facilities (services) that run on it.
