Indicator: B9.5.1.1.2 - Create monologues and dialogues narratives in play scripts
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define monologue and dialogue and distinguish between them in a play script.
- Identify monologues and dialogues in short play script extracts.
- Create a dialogue between two characters using correct punctuation, including commas, full stops, question marks and quotation marks.
- Write a short monologue that reveals a character’s thoughts and feelings.
- Present a short scene from their own play script with appropriate expression.
