By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. List at least five personal hygiene practices essential during adolescence
  2. Explain why keeping the body, clothes, and surroundings clean matters during the adolescent years
  3. Describe proper care of the genital organs, including menstrual hygiene for girls
  4. Discuss how poor hygiene during adolescence can affect personal health and in turn affect national development
  5. Demonstrate commitment to practising good personal hygiene daily at home and in school
