Learning Objectives
Indicator: K2.2.4.1.4 - Identify the letter-sound learnt for the week in words related to the theme and write the letter and key word boldly and legibly in their books.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Say the sound of the week (for example, “s”) clearly and correctly when shown the letter.
- Identify the letter of the week in words related to the school family theme, such as “school” and “teacher”.
- Name at least two words from the school family theme that begin with the letter-sound of the week.
- Write both the capital and small forms of the letter of the week in their exercise books.
- Write the key word of the week boldly and legibly, using correct letter formation.
