Learning Objectives
Indicator: B4.1.3.2.1 - Identify people in the community
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Name at least five different people found in the community and state what each one does.
- Sort people in the community into those who are helpful and those who may be harmful.
- Role play the behaviour of different people in the community to show their characteristics.
- Draw and colour at least two people they see regularly in their community.
- Explain one way they can become a good person in their own community.

Learners talk about various people in the community e.g. Parents, Teachers, Pastors, Imams, Chiefs, Queens, Police, Traders, Drivers. Learners role play to bring out the characteristics of different people in the community, e.g. strangers, drug addicts, drunkards and people with questionable character and talk about people who are likely to help or harm people. Learners draw and colour different people in the community. Learners talk about how they can become good people in the community.
