Learning Objectives

Indicator: K2.1.5.1.4 - Blend letter-sounds learnt to form simple words related to the topic and copy the word in their books.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify the individual letter-sounds in simple words related to their environment (e.g., cutlass, fire, rock).
Blend two or three letter-sounds together to form a simple word.
Copy the blended word correctly in their exercise books using the red and blue lines.
Match a spoken word to the correct written word among two or three options.
Read aloud the words they have copied with teacher support.

Learners copy the words in their exercise books.
