Learning Objectives
Indicator: K2.1.5.1.6 - Classify objects according to their shape and colour.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify and name the shape of at least three common objects in the household learning centre (for example, round, square, triangular).
- Identify and name the colour of at least three common objects in the household learning centre.
- Sort a mixed collection of objects into groups by shape (all round things together, all square things together).
- Sort a mixed collection of objects into groups by colour (all red things together, all blue things together).
- Group the same objects again by whether they are dangerous or non-dangerous, talking about why each group is safe or unsafe.
