Learning Objectives
Indicator: K2.3.2.1.3 - Randomly identify letters of the alphabet and recognize them in words and names related to the theme and clap the syllables.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Randomly identify at least 10 letters of the alphabet when shown letter cards.
- Recognize these letters at the beginning of words and names related to cultural values (e.g., g for greet, s for share, p for please, t for thank you).
- Clap the syllables in cultural value words such as greeting, sharing, helping, polite, respect.
- Work in groups to match letter cards to picture cards of actions showing good manners.
- Earn marks for their group by correctly sounding out the letter and the word that starts with it.
