- Explain the term “money” in their own words, using the idea of legal tender and medium of exchange.
- Identify Ghanaian currency notes and coins, including their denominations and security features.
- List at least five ways money is useful in daily life, including promoting God’s work, meeting basic needs, and helping the poor.
- Give a reasoned response to the question “What would life be like without money?” using evidence from their own experience.
- Sort examples of money’s usefulness into the categories of present needs, future planning, and service to God and others.

1. Look at pictures of money or real Ghanaian currency notes and coins, and explain the meaning of money and its usefulness. Meaning of Money: • Money is anything accepted as legal tender and can be used as medium of exchange. Usefulness of Money: • used to promote God's work • motivation to work • used to acquire our basic needs e.g. food, clothing, shelter, education • used to prepare for the future when we are not strong to work or we retire from work, e.g., social security • used to help the poor and needy in society, etc.
