By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Sing triads built on all seven degrees of the scale melodically (as arpeggios) with correct pitch and rhythm.
- Sing triads built on all seven degrees of the scale harmonically in a group of four voice parts.
- Identify the seven degrees of the scale (I to VII) and state the notes that form the triad on each degree in the key of C major.
- Hold the final note of each arpeggio with a long pause as directed, demonstrating breath control and pitch stability.
- Work cooperatively in vocal groups, listening to other parts and adjusting their own pitch to achieve harmony.
