- Identify at least five measuring and marking out tools and state the trade area in which each is commonly used.
- Classify given measuring and marking out tools under the correct headings: building, wood work, or metal/plastic work.
- Explain the purpose of at least four measuring and marking out tools in their own words.
- Sort a mixed list of tools into measuring tools and marking out tools, giving a reason for each choice.
- Select the appropriate measuring or marking out tool for a given task and justify the choice.
