Learning Objectives
Indicator: 1.1.1.LI.2 - Document the roles of the various components of the Art and Design Studio
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- State the specific role of at least five components of the Art and Design Studio (e.g., Painting, Ceramics, Graphic Design, Textiles, Sculpture) in Ghanaian society.
- Differentiate between the roles of Fine Arts components and Applied Art components within the studio.
- Work collaboratively in small groups to document how each studio component contributes to cultural preservation, economic development, or daily life in Ghana.
- Present their documented findings to the whole class, using a chart, poster, or simple digital presentation, explaining the implications of these roles.
- Reflect on how the roles of studio components connect to their own career interests and Ghanaian cultural identity.
