Indicator: 1.5.2.LI.3 - Outline the uses of manufactured boards made from Wood and non-wood residues
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- State at least four common manufactured boards made from wood and non-wood residues and match each to its primary use.
- Explain why specific manufactured boards are chosen for particular applications (e.g., moisture resistance, strength, cost, surface finish).
- Identify at least three places in their school, home, or community where manufactured boards are already in use.
- Justify the choice of a manufactured board over solid wood for a given practical application, using at least two supporting reasons.
