Lesson notes
Learning Objectives
Indicator: 2.4.2.LI.4 - Produce a model from your working drawings
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Interpret their working drawings (first or third angle orthographic projections) to identify all parts, dimensions and assembly details needed for model production.
- Select appropriate materials from the available stock (wood, plywood, nails, glue) that match the specifications in their working drawings.
- Measure, mark out and cut each component of the model accurately to the dimensions stated in their working drawings.
