Learning Objectives
Indicator: B4.2.3.1.1 - Map the school environment
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify and name at least five key physical features of the school environment, such as classroom blocks, canteen, library, playground, and computer laboratory.
- Explain what a sketch map is and describe its purpose in representing a place.
- Draw a simple sketch map of the school environment showing the relative positions of key features.
- Use symbols, labels, and a simple key to represent different features on their sketch map.
- Work collaboratively in pairs to compare and improve their sketch maps.
