Learning Objectives
Indicator: B5.1.12.1.13 - Organise traditional music and dance.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify at least two traditional Ghanaian dances and the regions or ethnic groups associated with them.
- Demonstrate the basic steps of one traditional dance in pairs, showing coordination with the beat of the music.
- Organise a mini dancing competition in small groups, taking turns to perform and judge fairly.
- Explain how dancing improves agility, balance, concentration and coordination.
- Follow a proper warm-up and cool-down routine before and after the dance activities.
