Learning Objectives
Indicator: B4.1.5.1.5 - Balance while moving and manipulating objects on a ground-level balance beam.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Demonstrate correct posture and steady balance while walking along a ground-level balance beam.
- Walk along a ground-level balance beam while holding a rubber ball with two hands at chest height.
- Walk along a ground-level balance beam while raising a rubber ball overhead with two hands, maintaining balance throughout the movement.
- Describe in their own words the body positions that help a person stay balanced while moving on a narrow surface.
- Show patience and self-control by waiting for their turn and encouraging classmates during balance beam practice.
