Learning Objectives
Indicator: B4.1.2.1.2 - Enter, jump, and leave a long swinging rope turned by others repeatedly.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Enter a long swinging rope at the correct moment without stopping the rope’s rhythm.
- Jump repeatedly over a long rope turned by two peers, landing softly on the balls of their feet.
- Leave the long rope at the correct time without tripping or disrupting the turners.
- Demonstrate the sequence of enter, jump, and leave in a continuous cycle with a partner or small group.
- Work cooperatively with classmates by taking turns as jumper, rope turner, and observer, offering helpful feedback to one another.
