Learning Objectives
Indicator: B4.1.6.1.6 - Strike a bounce ball with the hands and feet.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Strike a bounced ball with an open hand (underhand movement pattern) towards a partner or target with accuracy.
- Strike a gently tossed ball with the foot using side orientation, sending it towards a partner or designated area.
- Demonstrate correct body positioning, balance, and eye-on-ball focus when striking a ball that has bounced once.
- Apply the skill of striking a bounced ball in a paired practice activity, showing coordination and control.
- Explain in their own words when it is appropriate to use the hand or foot to strike a bounced ball during games.
