Learning Objectives

Indicator: B4.1.9.1.11 - Kick a ball dropped from the hands.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Demonstrate the correct technique for kicking a ball dropped from their own hands, using the instep of the foot.
  2. Control and stop a ball kicked by a partner from a distance of 15 metres on the ground using their foot.
  3. Kick a dropped ball with accuracy towards a target or partner at varying distances.
  4. Apply balance, coordination and patience while performing a drop-kick sequence consistently.
  5. Work cooperatively in small groups to practise kicking and controlling a ball from a 15-metre distance.
