Learning Objectives
Indicator: B4.1.9.1.11 - Kick a ball dropped from the hands.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Demonstrate the correct technique for kicking a ball dropped from their own hands, using the instep of the foot.
- Control and stop a ball kicked by a partner from a distance of 15 metres on the ground using their foot.
- Kick a dropped ball with accuracy towards a target or partner at varying distances.
- Apply balance, coordination and patience while performing a drop-kick sequence consistently.
- Work cooperatively in small groups to practise kicking and controlling a ball from a 15-metre distance.
