Learning Objectives
Indicator: B4.1.3.1.3 - Roll ball with a stick to a target.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Demonstrate the correct grip and stance for rolling a ball with a stick toward a target after a general and specific warm-up.
- Roll a ball in a straight line to a stationary target using a stick, with at least 3 out of 5 attempts reaching the target zone.
- Perform curve rolling of a ball with a stick around a cone or marker, showing control of direction and speed.
- Explain in their own words how grip, body position and follow-through affect the accuracy of rolling a ball with a stick.
- Apply fair play and turn-taking rules while practicing ball rolling in pairs or small groups.
