Learning Objectives

Indicator: B3.1.2.1.2 - Jump continuously forward and backward over a turning rope.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  • Jump 10 times continuously over a forward-turning rope, landing on the balls of both feet.
  • Jump 10 times continuously over a backward-turning rope, landing on the balls of both feet.
  • Take off and land safely using the balls of the feet, with knees slightly bent on landing.
  • Work in a group of three, taking turns to turn the rope and jump without stopping.
  • Describe and demonstrate the difference between jumping over a forward-turning rope and a backward-turning rope.
