Learning Objectives
Indicator: B3.1.12.1.16 - Demonstrate the difference between a jog and a run, a hop and a jump, and a gallop and a slide.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Demonstrate a jog and a run and state at least two differences between them.
- Demonstrate a hop and a jump and explain what makes each movement distinct.
- Demonstrate a gallop and a slide and identify the key difference in how the feet move.
- Compare pairs of movements using observation and correct vocabulary (jog/run, hop/jump, gallop/slide).
- Respond to teacher cues to switch correctly between the paired movements during group practice.
