Learning Objectives

Indicator: K2.6.2.1.6 - Observe, identify and talk about images, items and performances in artworks of everyday life.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Observe pictures of domestic and wild animals and point to the ones they recognise.
  2. Identify and name at least three domestic animals and three wild animals shown in images or artworks.
  3. Talk about the characteristics, colours and size of animals they see in pictures using simple sentences like “The cow is big and brown.”
  4. Sort animal pictures by cutting and pasting them into two groups: domestic and wild.
  5. Describe what is happening in a simple artwork or picture that shows animals in everyday life.
