Indicator: K2.6.1.1.3 - Keep record of sight words and new content vocabulary learnt from the reading text on the theme.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Pronounce at least 6 new words from the theme correctly after teacher modelling
- Match new vocabulary words to the correct picture cards
- Copy at least 6 new words neatly into their personal word books
- Use at least 3 new words to create simple oral sentences
- Point to and say the new words when they see them in the shared reading text
