Learning Objectives
Indicator: K1.6.1.1.4 - Identify and write initial sounds of the objects.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Say the name of a pictured living or non-living thing and identify its initial sound.
- Match pictures of living and non-living things to their correct initial letter sounds.
- Trace and write the initial letter sound for at least three pictured objects.
- Work with a partner to sort picture cards by their initial sounds.
- Identify initial sounds of objects found in their classroom or around the school compound.
