Indicator: B7.1.2.1.1 - Listen to level-appropriate text attentively and identify key information
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the main idea of a level-appropriate oral text read aloud by the teacher.
- Identify at least two supporting points that back the main idea of the text.
- State the speaker’s intent or purpose (to inform, persuade, or instruct) after listening to a text.
- Identify the speaker’s enthusiasm or passion for the topic from the tone and choice of words used.
- Cross-check written notes against the original oral text and correct any wrong information.
