Learning Objectives
Indicator: B2.1.7.1.3 - Recognise and discuss events in a story (characters, settings, moral, etc.)
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify at least three main characters in a story read aloud by the teacher and describe what each one does.
- State the setting of a story (where and when the events take place) with at least one piece of evidence from the story.
- Retell the main events of a story in the correct order, using words like “first”, “then” and “finally”.
- Discuss the moral or lesson of a story with a partner and give one reason why it matters in their own lives.
- Share their pair discussion findings with the whole class using complete sentences.
