Learning Objectives

Indicator: B8.1.2.3.2 - Identify the key words and phrases used in targeted theme(s) of a story read in class in order to demonstrate understanding of the message.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. State the key words and phrases related to the theme of honesty (الصدق) from a story read aloud in class.
  2. Match the Arabic key words (e.g., الصدق، الأمانة، الكذب، الثقة) to their meanings in English.
  3. Identify the specific words and phrases in the story that express the general message about honesty in society.
  4. Orally answer listening comprehension questions using the key words and phrases from the story (e.g., “ماذا يعني الصدق؟”).
  5. Explain in simple Arabic or English (with Arabic key terms) the connection between honesty, trust, and being content with little (الرضا بالقليل) as presented in the story.
