Indicator: B8.1.2.3.3 - Predict and connect the main ideas of a story told by the teacher or taken from an audio-visual sources
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Predict possible connections between the main ideas of a story told in Arabic before and during listening.
- Connect the main ideas of the story to each other using simple linking words and phrases in Arabic.
- Answer “what will happen next?” questions by making logical predictions based on clues in the story.
- Summarise the main ideas of the story in 3 to 4 simple Arabic sentences.
- Justify their predictions by referring to specific words or phrases from the story.
