Learning Objectives

Indicator: B8.1.2.3.3 - Predict and connect the main ideas of a story told by the teacher or taken from an audio-visual sources

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Predict possible connections between the main ideas of a story told in Arabic before and during listening.
  2. Connect the main ideas of the story to each other using simple linking words and phrases in Arabic.
  3. Answer “what will happen next?” questions by making logical predictions based on clues in the story.
  4. Summarise the main ideas of the story in 3 to 4 simple Arabic sentences.
  5. Justify their predictions by referring to specific words or phrases from the story.
