Learning Objectives

Indicator: B8.1.2.3.4 - Demonstrate listening ability through a class discussion of a story from an audio-visual medium.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Recall and retell the main events of the story, also named القصة, they watched or listened to, in sequence and in simple sentences in Arabic.
  2. Answer comprehension questions about the story’s key characters, setting and lesson, also named العبرة, using complete sentences.
  3. Express and justify at least one personal opinion about a character’s action or decision in the story.
  4. Identify an underlying lesson or moral from the story and explain how it applies to their own lives.
  5. Participate actively in a class discussion by making at least two relevant contributions (asking a question, agreeing, disagreeing politely, or adding a new point).
