Learning Objectives
Indicator: B8.1.2.3.4 - Demonstrate listening ability through a class discussion of a story from an audio-visual medium.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Recall and retell the main events of the story, also named القصة, they watched or listened to, in sequence and in simple sentences in Arabic.
- Answer comprehension questions about the story’s key characters, setting and lesson, also named العبرة, using complete sentences.
- Express and justify at least one personal opinion about a character’s action or decision in the story.
- Identify an underlying lesson or moral from the story and explain how it applies to their own lives.
- Participate actively in a class discussion by making at least two relevant contributions (asking a question, agreeing, disagreeing politely, or adding a new point).
