Learning Objectives
Indicator: B8.1.2.1.2 - Demonstrate listening skills by recognising audio representations of different meals.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Recognise the Arabic names for the three daily meals (الفطور, الغداء, العشاء) when heard in an audio recording.
- Identify the Arabic names of common Ghanaian and Middle Eastern foods (أرز, فول, برش, ملخية, عصيدة, ثريد, شاي) when spoken aloud.
- Distinguish between the meal of the day and the specific food item in a simple audio sentence.
- Respond correctly (orally or by pointing) to audio prompts naming a specific meal or food.
- Use the phrase “في” (in/at) correctly when stating which meal a particular food is eaten at, based on what they hear.
