Learning Objectives
Indicator: B7.1.2.2.2 - State the general idea(s) behind a story told in class about sanitation and identify associated vocabulary.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- State the general idea of a short story told in class about sanitation, in Arabic phrasing taught in class.
- Identify and list at least 10 words associated with sanitation from the story.
- Match each identified sanitation word with its correct meaning in English, Arabic, or both, depending on learners’ level.
- Answer simple oral questions that check for understanding of the main point of the story, using complete short sentences.
- Retell the main events of the sanitation story in 2 or 3 simple sentences, demonstrating understanding of its overall message.
