Learning Objectives
Indicator: B7.1.2.3.3 - Demonstrate knowledge in the use of appropriate expressions for seasonal greetings and well wishes.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Recognise and pronounce correctly the five seasonal greeting expressions listed in the indicator when heard in a recording or spoken by the teacher.
- Match each seasonal greeting expression to its appropriate occasion (Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, or general well-wishing).
- Respond appropriately to seasonal greetings with the correct reply expression when prompted by the teacher.
- Use at least two seasonal greetings and their responses in a short role-play conversation with a partner.
- Identify the difference between everyday greetings (learned in Week 10, B7.1.2.3.1) and seasonal greetings introduced in this lesson.
