Indicator: B1.2.2.1.2 - Observe different kinds of seeds
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify at least four different kinds of seeds from common Ghanaian plants and fruits.
- Describe the external parts of a seed (seed coat, scar/hilum) using simple language.
- Draw and label the outside of a seed they have examined.
- Match different fruits to the seeds that come from them in a matching game.
- Sort a collection of mixed seeds into groups based on size, colour, shape, or texture.
