Indicator: 2.5.4.LI.2 - Discuss the relevance of leisure and recreation to personal and national development
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Explain at least three ways leisure and recreation contribute to personal development, including physical health, mental well-being, and social interaction.
- Analyse how leisure and tourism generate economic benefits for individuals and the nation, citing specific examples from Ghana.
- Identify challenges that limit access to leisure and recreation in Ghana and propose practical solutions to address them.
- Create a personal plan for incorporating leisure and recreational activities into their daily routine to enhance well-being.
- Discuss how leisure and recreation reflect and promote Ghanaian cultural values and national identity.
