Exemplars (from the NaCCA curriculum)
Talk For Learning: Review knowledge on elements of drama using Talking Point. Learners in groups present information while those from other groups give feedback and add. Collaborative/Group: - In pyramid task groups/mixed ability groups, look for the different forms of drama online. e.g., tragedy, comedy, comedy and tragicomedy. Encourage learners to find these examples for themselves to develop confidence in using ICT tools for learning. - Present findings for a whole class discussion. This will lead to learners using knowledge to develop creativity as a team. Assessment (2.3.1.AS.1). The document marks these depth-of-knowledge levels for this indicator: Level 1 Recall; Level 2 Skills of conceptual understanding. Teaching and Learning Resources: - T.V. drama series - Varied level appropriate drama texts (mostly local) - Films and skits online, etc
