Learning Objectives
Indicator: K2.4.2.1.4
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the letter-sound for the week (e.g., “f” as in farmer, fisherman, or food seller) when it appears in words related to occupations in their community.
- Say the sound of the week clearly and correctly when shown the letter.
- Trace and write the letter of the week boldly and legibly on their writing boards or in their books.
- Copy and write the key word related to the week’s occupation theme (e.g., “farmer”, “fisherman”) boldly and legibly in their exercise books.
- Point to and name at least one occupation word that begins with the letter-sound of the week.
