Learning Objectives

Indicator: K2.4.2.1.3 - Use vocabulary acquired from the week to compose oral composition about their future profession and write simple sentences which relates to the theme in their word bank.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Name at least three occupations using vocabulary learned in previous weeks (e.g., teacher, farmer, nurse, trader).
  2. Orally compose a short composition (2 to 3 sentences) about their future profession using the sentence frame “I want to be a _.”
  3. Dramatize or act out what their chosen profession does, using occupation vocabulary.
  4. Write one simple sentence about their future profession in their personal word bank with teacher support.
  5. Read back their written sentence to a partner or the class with growing confidence.
