Learning Objectives
Indicator: K2.4.1.1.3 - Read level-appropriate sight words from the big book
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Read at least 5 level-appropriate sight words displayed on word cards with teacher support.
- Point to and locate sight words from the big book when prompted by the teacher.
- Use sight words to form short and simple sentences orally.
- Copy at least 5 sight words neatly in their ruled exercise books.
- Read the copied sight words aloud to a partner with minimal prompting.
